Capturing the caregiver experience
We are currently conducting a study to help us develop new surveys that will capture and characterize the most important aspects of the caregiving experience in “nontraditional” caregivers of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) (HUM00242611). A “nontraditional” caregiver is a family member other than a spouse or adult child, or a friend who helps the person living with ADRD.
Participation includes one 60-minute study visit that can be completed from home and includes:
- Interview about being a caregiver for someone with ADRD
- Online survey with questions about you and the person with ADRD you are caring for
Study participants must:
- Be a caregiver of someone living with ADRD
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to read and understand English
- Have an existing relationship with the person living with ADRD
- Provide some form of physical assistance, emotional support, and/or financial assistance to the person living with ADRD
You will receive $60 for completing the study. For more information, please contact study staff by calling 734-764-0644 or emailing [email protected].
