Dr. Noelle Carlozzi was recently awarded a 5-year, $3.4 million grant from the National Institute on Aging to develop a new measurement system that can capture the multi-faceted aspects of financial hardship experienced by people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).

We are proud to announce that CODA Director Noelle E. Carlozzi, Ph.D. was ranked fifth out of 104 Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) principal investigators across the country in the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research’s Rankings of NIH Funding in 2023. Dr. Carlozzi received a total of $2,554,758 in funding awards in 2023, helping to secure the University of Michigan’s Department of PM&R a fourth-place ranking with total awards of $4,888,288.
