Back to SoRelle Collaborative Epstein-Barr Virus Lab
Single-cell and spatial virology
We use cutting-edge methods for functional studies of EBV infection
The SoRelle Collaborative EBV Lab (scEBV Lab) began in 2024 at the University of Michigan in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. We are actively writing our history – come be a part of it!
The lab’s main goals are to understand fundamental biological aspects of host-virus epigenomic regulation in exquisite detail and to develop insights that lead to better treatments for EBV-associated diseases.
- Great science is catalyzed by talented teams of people with diverse backgrounds, strengths, and experiences who are invested in each other’s success.
- Aim for thorough, rigorous, and reproducible studies.
- Wherever practical, seek more data at higher resolution from better models.
- Iterate and improve.
- Science is for everyone. We should make sure it is accessible, particularly through communication.
